So we'll keep you updated as we hear more. ![]() Gearbox announced back in February that the next campaign will drop 'in Summer' and hasn't stated that'll change. ![]() Of course, we ought to take Covid-19 into consideration, too – the pandemic has already lead to myriad game delays, and we doubt Borderlands 3 is exempt. The cadence for releases in Borderlands 3 so far seems to be once every quarter – every three months – and if that's the case, you can likely expect DLC 3 to arrive in June or July. Similarly to the Spring roadmap, we're willing to bet a third DLC campaign will take pride of place in the roadmap. We believe, then, that Gearbox is going to want to put another Roadmap out there either before or just after that event, to keep interest in the looter shooter alive. ![]() The last event on the roadmap is the Guardian Takedown (which includes a free content update, Eridian-themed takedown, new bosses and – as ever – more gear to get your grubby little mitts on), and that's set to take place before May 31. I guess we will have to wait a little longer to know for sure. We're right at the end of the Spring 2020 roadmap that Gearbox posted back at the start of the year, which gave us details about all the updates we've seen since February. Perhaps we will see him learn of Maya’s death and what that might do to further damage or heal his very troubled and fractured mind. Hey guys, I’m a veteran borderlands player with about 1000 hours between 1,2 and the presequel but my pc wasn’t good enough to play bl3. It is beginning to look like Krieg will be the main focus of the final DLC pack set for release in September, marking the one year anniversary of the game. The 1st dlc is pretty much 3rd in rank for me though I did find that. I like the setting for the 2nd dlc and the whole Cthulu like bent to the story but the narrator for the 3rd dlc is occasionally funny for some reason. The last part of the announcement was a single image displaying Krieg (one of the best playable characters in my opinion) and what appears to outline his split mind and personality. There is speculation about who the narrator of this tale will be within cutscenes and the content in general with a soft promise of a “big reveal.” Interesting, to say the least. A new motorcycle-like vehicle was also shown, but apparently, it can only be driven within this new content’s map, so enjoy it while you can, I suppose. Two new characters, Juno and Rose, were shown off at the event that announced this DLC, but not much is known about them now. (Which could be good, bad, or ugly, pardon my terrible pun) The setting steals heavily from classic spaghetti western imagery and appears focused on a cast of entirely new characters. That is quite a mouthful, to say the least. That’s my ranking order, what’s yours Follow me on Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. The third DLC installment for Borderlands 3 will be here next month (June 25, to be exact), and we now know what to call Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption. You should not spoil anything for yourself if you should happen to start either of them before finishing the game. On another note, so far the stories do not seem to be connected to the main one really at all, besides the presence of certain characters that were also a part of those events. Going too early might make them obsolete before you finish the main campaign. That is not to say that I would recommend taking on either DLC too early on in your experience, as some of the coolest and most unique loot in the game can be found there. In other words, the DLC scale to your character’s level can be played anytime on Normal difficulty without Mayhem mode turned on. As long as you are not at the current level cap and have Mayhem mode, all enemies you will face and loot that you may acquire should be within one level of you (under or over). If you are new to the game or, better yet, new to the Borderlands series, you might be wondering when the best time to try to tackle each of these add-on campaigns is.įret not, valiant vault hunter for Gearbox knew that you would be rearing and ready to go for any of their DLC content. As of this writing, Gearbox now has two released full DLC stories to play through in Borderlands 3.
